Me In A Phase
In my first 25 years I have realised that I am a phasular person. I would go so far as to say that I shall not be surprised if this site itself turns out to be just another phase. The title is, therefore, more than apt.
Currently resident in Berlin, I also like the fact that if a German person were to read the title they would most likely see “Mein (a) Phase”, happily similar to “Meine Phase”, which roughly translates as “My Phase”. meinaphase therefore works in both of my functional languages and that pleases me.
The site has no real purpose other than to document what happens to be inspiring/driving/troubling me at any particular moment and to allow me to keep track of my phases: from ukuleles, to phrases in various languages, to blogging.

But why have you moved? I don’t get it. Now I have to change my habbits and your link on my blog! …makes everything so complicated!
Speaking of Ukuleles: Have you seen the great videos of Julia Nunes? http://www.youtube.com/user/jaaaaaaa
I like this one in particular: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-lt3vVA-4I
Cheers!

Oh…I see…my blog appears when you scroll over my name. That’s quite fascinating and may be one argument for moving!

Comment by lurob Thursday 19 June 2008 @ 6:06 pmWhat does it mean “keeping you on your toes”? Keeping you informed? Keeping you busy?
Comment by Marie Sunday 6 July 2008 @ 5:07 pmIt means “keeping you alert”. (If you are on tiptoes you can react quickly to any situation/you are alert.)
Comment by Lu Sunday 6 July 2008 @ 8:43 pmThose youtube ukulele videos are in fact part of the ukulele inspiration. The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain are another reason. I haven’t acted on my desire to play the ukulele yet, but I shall keep you informed
